The Polaris 10-112-00 set is the pair of universal wall fitting restrictor disks, one red and one blue. They are the genuine Polaris parts, listed for the 180, 280, 280 Tank Trax, 360, 380, 3900 Sport and 480 Pro cleaners.

What they do

A pressure side cleaner is fed from a wall fitting, and how well it works depends on getting the right amount of water through that fitting. The restrictor disks sit inside the fitting and cut the flow down. Two sizes are supplied so you can pick the one that suits your booster pump and plumbing.

Getting the speed right

A cleaner that races around the pool is being overfed. It skips debris, bounces off walls and chews through tires and bearings faster than it should. One that crawls or stalls halfway up a slope is being starved. Swapping restrictor disks is the simplest way to bring the cleaner into the range it was designed to run in, and it costs a fraction of replacing worn drive parts later.

What do the two colors mean?
They are two different restriction sizes. Fitting one or the other changes how much water reaches the cleaner, which is how you dial in its speed.

My cleaner is racing around the pool. Will this help?
It can. A cleaner running too fast is usually getting more flow than it needs, and a restrictor disk in the wall fitting brings it back into range. Running at the right speed also cuts wear on the tires and the drive train.
