Product details

The Polaris B10 is the wear ring for the sweep hose tail, listed for the Polaris 180, 280, 360 and 380 pool cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris OEM part, molded in plastic.

What it is doing there

The sweep hose is the long tail that whips across the pool while the cleaner works, stirring debris off the floor and out of corners so the cleaner can pick it up. That tail is in constant contact with plaster, tile and the liner. The wear ring is the sacrificial piece at the end: it takes the abrasion instead of the hose. Once it is worn through, the hose itself starts grinding away, and a sweep hose is a much larger purchase than a ring.
