The Polaris C55 is the plastic wheel screw for the Polaris 180 and 280 pool cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris part.
What it does
This screw is what fastens the wheels to the cleaner. It works on both the larger and the smaller wheels on those two models. When one shears off or vibrates out in the pool, the wheel is free to work its way off the axle, and the washer and bearings usually go with it.
Worth keeping spare
It is a small, inexpensive part on a cleaner that spends its life being dragged over concrete and plaster. Ordering a couple at once means the next one does not take the cleaner out of service. If a wheel has already come off, check the washer and the bearings before you put it back together.
