Product details

The Polaris R0706000 is the genuine wheel block with inserts for the Polaris 280 pressure side pool cleaner. It arrives as the block with its inserts fitted.

What the wheel block does

The block is what carries the wheel on the cleaner body. It has to hold the wheel square while the cleaner drags itself over floors and up walls, hour after hour, with grit in the water the whole time. That is a wearing job, and blocks are meant to be replaced.

The symptoms

Worn blocks rarely break outright. What you see instead is a wheel with play in it, a wheel that sits at an angle, or a cleaner that has quietly stopped covering the pool the way it used to. Those are usually mechanical, not a pump or hose problem, and the blocks are the first place to look.
