Product details

This is the genuine Polaris black plastic wheel screw used on the 280 and TR28P pressure side cleaners. It is a small piece of hardware with an outsized job: it is what keeps a wheel located on its axle while the cleaner drives its pattern around the pool.

When you need one

Wheel screws strip, back out, or simply disappear into the deep end. The usual sign is a wheel that has developed side to side play, sits crooked, or has come off entirely and left the cleaner running in circles. Replacing the screw is a two minute repair that costs a fraction of a new wheel assembly.
