The Polaris D16 is the black feed hose nut for the BlackMax model 380 and 280 pressure side cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris part, molded in plastic like the original.
What it does
The feed hose is assembled from sections, and each joint is held by a nut. That nut carries the pressure the cleaner runs on. When it cracks or the thread strips, the joint weeps, pressure drops and the cleaner loses the drive it needs to climb walls and hold its pattern.

This is the nut only. Hose sections, swivels and the back-up valve are separate Polaris parts, so check whether the hose itself has split before you order just the nut.
