Product details

Polaris 9-100-7170 is the genuine hose clamp for the water management system on the Polaris 180, 280, 360 and 380 pool cleaners. It comes six to a pack.

What fails and why

The clamps on a pressure side cleaner hold hose joints that see pressurized water every time the booster pump runs, and they sit in sun and chlorinated water for years. When one gives up you get a weeping joint or a hose that works loose, and the cleaner loses the pressure it needs to drive and sweep properly. Owners often chase the problem at the pump or the hose before checking the clamps.
