Product details

The Polaris 9-100-5107 is a stainless steel e-clip for the Polaris 380, 360 and 340 ATV pool cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris part and is sold as a single clip. Polaris also lists it under the 480 Pro cleaner.

What it does

An e-clip is a small sprung ring that snaps sideways into a machined groove on a shaft. It does one job: it stops everything on that shaft from sliding off the end. On these cleaners that usually means a wheel, a roller or a pivot pin stays where it belongs.

Why stainless matters

A plated clip in chlorinated water rusts, loses its spring and eventually lets go. This one is stainless steel, so it holds its grip through seasons in the pool.
