Product details

The Polaris 9-100-5115 is the genuine 8-32 x 3/4 in. stainless steel pan head screw used on the Polaris 340 ATV, 360 and 380 pool cleaners. It is sold individually.

Why the material matters

This is a small part, but the metal is the point. A cleaner lives its whole life in chlorinated water, and a plated steel screw from the hardware aisle starts rusting within a season. It stains the plastic around it, then seizes in its boss, and the next person to open the cleaner ends up drilling out a snapped fastener rather than turning a screwdriver. Stainless is what belongs there.
