Product details

The Polaris C40 is the stainless steel pan head screw used across the Vac-Sweep cleaner line, 10-32 thread and 3/8 in. long. It is the genuine Polaris part.

Where it is used

Polaris calls for 20 of these on the cleaners it fits: the Vac-Sweep 180, 280, 360 and 380, the 280 TankTrax and 480 PRO, and the 3900 Sport. They hold housings, covers and brackets together throughout the body of the cleaner.

Why stainless matters

These screws live in chlorinated water for their whole service life. A plated substitute will corrode, swell in the plastic boss and end up drilled out. Stainless is the reason the originals come out cleanly years later, so it is worth replacing like for like when one goes missing.
