The Polaris 6-507-00 is the drain plug assembly with o-ring for the Polaris Vac-Sweep 65, 165, 180 and Turbo Turtle pool cleaners.

What it does

An o-ring seals a threaded joint against leakage, and on this assembly it seals the drain plug against the cleaner housing so water stays out of the drain opening when the plug is in place.

Fit and compatibility

This assembly is made for the Polaris Vac-Sweep 65, Vac-Sweep 165, Vac-Sweep 180 and Turbo Turtle pool cleaners.

When to replace it

An o-ring that has flattened, cracked or hardened will no longer seal as well as a new one, so it is worth checking the drain plug o-ring whenever the cleaner is opened for other service.
