The Polaris 9-100-1018 is the bag collar for the 280, 380, 3900 and TR28P pressure side cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris part.
What it is
The collar is the clip that threads through the hook and loop tab on the filter bag and then snaps onto the cleaner hose. It is what keeps the bag hanging in the right place while the cleaner drags it around the pool. It is a small part and easy to overlook until it splits.
When to change it
If the debris bag has been coming off during a cycle, or you find it lying on the pool floor, look at the collar first. A cracked collar loses its grip on the hose, and the bag then works its way free. It is sized for the 3/4 inch hose these cleaners run.
