Product details

Polaris 9-100-1206 is the feed hose float for the Polaris 360 pressure side cleaner. It is the genuine Polaris part.

What the float does

Floats sit at intervals along the feed hose and hold it up off the pool floor. With them in place the hose follows the cleaner cleanly, instead of dragging along the bottom, doubling back over the cleaner body or wrapping itself around a ladder or the steps.

When to replace one

Floats crack, take on water and slide out of position with age. If the hose has started sinking, kinking or tangling more than it used to, run your hand along its length and replace any float that is damaged or waterlogged.

Which cleaner is this for?
The Polaris 360. It is the genuine Polaris feed hose float, part 9-100-1206.
How many floats does the hose need?
The 360 carries floats spaced along the feed hose. Check how many are on your hose and replace the ones that have failed, or order a full set if they have all aged out.
What does a float actually do?
It holds the feed hose up off the pool floor. That keeps the hose trailing behind the cleaner rather than dragging, and stops it wrapping around the cleaner, the steps or a ladder.
How do I know a float has gone?
Cracks, a float that has taken on water and sits low, or one that has slid out of position. Any of those and the hose starts sinking and tangling.
