Polaris 9-100-1206 is the feed hose float for the Polaris 360 pressure side cleaner. It is the genuine Polaris part.
What the float does
Floats sit at intervals along the feed hose and hold it up off the pool floor. With them in place the hose follows the cleaner cleanly, instead of dragging along the bottom, doubling back over the cleaner body or wrapping itself around a ladder or the steps.
When to replace one
Floats crack, take on water and slide out of position with age. If the hose has started sinking, kinking or tangling more than it used to, run your hand along its length and replace any float that is damaged or waterlogged.
