The Polaris D10 is the feed hose float used on the Polaris pressure side cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris part, molded in plastic.
What it does
The float clips onto the feed hose and holds it up in the water. Without it the hose sinks and drags along the pool floor, which adds resistance, pulls the cleaner away from its pattern and leaves parts of the pool uncleaned. Floats are consumable: they crack, they get lost, and a hose with half its floats missing behaves noticeably worse.
