The Polaris C110 is the turbine cover with elbow for the Polaris 180 and Polaris 280 pressure side cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris part and the elbow is included.
What it covers
The turbine is the heart of a pressure side cleaner. Water from the booster pump spins it, and that is what drives the wheels around the pool. The cover encloses that turbine and carries the elbow the feed hose attaches to, so it is doing two jobs at once: keeping debris out of the turbine and directing the water that turns it.
Why they break
The cover sits on top of a machine that spends every cycle bumping into walls and steps, and the plastic ages in sun and sanitizer. A crack in the cover, or a broken elbow, lets water escape where it should be doing work. The usual symptom is a cleaner that still moves but has lost its drive and its pattern.
