The Polaris 10-102-00 is the plastic removal tool for the universal wall fitting, the threaded fitting in the pool wall that the cleaner feed line connects to. It is the genuine Polaris part.
Why a dedicated tool
The wall fitting has to come out for cleaning, for a screen change and whenever a restrictor is swapped. It is plastic, it is threaded into the wall and it is usually stiff with scale by the time anyone tries. Pliers and screwdrivers round the edges off and crack it, which turns a five minute job into a new fitting. This tool grips it properly so it backs out intact.
