The Polaris 9-100-7003 is the genuine feed pipe assembly for the 380 pressure side cleaner, in white. It is the piece on top of the cleaner that the feed hose connects to.
The failure it fixes
A short stem projects off the back of the feed pipe, and the ballast float slides onto it. That stem is the weak point. Once it snaps the float will not stay put, the cleaner loses its trim in the water and stops climbing properly. Replacing the feed pipe puts the stem back and returns the float to where it belongs.
380 or 360
Check the hose before ordering. The 380 uses a 3/4 inch smooth feed hose and takes this part. A cleaner with the larger 1.5 inch corrugated hose is a 360, and it needs feed pipe 9-100-1002 instead. The o-ring that seals the feed pipe into the 380 base is included here, so the assembly goes in complete.
