Product details
The Polaris 9-100-1007 is the genuine OEM transfer pulley and drive shaft assembly for the Polaris 380 and Polaris 360 pressure side pool cleaners. It is built in metal and supplied as a complete assembly.
Where it sits
The transfer pulley and shaft sit in the middle of the cleaner drive train. Water drives the turbine, the turbine drives the belts, and this assembly passes that motion along to the wheels. Everything the cleaner does to cover the pool depends on it turning freely and holding the belts where they belong.
The symptom
A 380 or 360 that has water pressure and a spinning turbine but moves slowly, wanders or stalls is usually losing drive somewhere in that chain. Worn belts are the first suspect, and a worn transfer pulley or shaft is the next. Replacing the assembly puts the drive back on a fresh surface.
