Product details
The Polaris G21 is a set of two ladder guard panels. They keep a Polaris cleaner from getting stuck on the pool ladder.
The problem
A pressure side cleaner drives a pattern and does not see obstacles. Ladder rails give it something to climb into and wedge against, and once it is hung up there it stops cleaning until someone walks out and frees it. That is lost cleaning time on every cycle, and it puts wear on the hose and the drive.
What the guards do
The two panels fit to the ladder and close off the gap the cleaner gets caught in, so it deflects and keeps going. They fit most ladders with poles under 2 in. in diameter, and 1.5 in. poles are the preferred size, so measure before ordering. Polaris lists the set with the parts for the 360 and 380 cleaners.
