The Polaris 9-100-7030 is the genuine OEM top and base assembly for the 360 and 380 pool cleaners. It fits all older and newer style cleaners in both model lines.
If yours has the two piece top
The pre 2003 cleaners used a two piece top, and neither the top nor the bottom of that style is available on its own any more. This kit is the answer: it replaces both pieces and converts the cleaner to the current one piece style, and it includes what the conversion needs.
Worth doing when
The housing is what carries the whole cleaner. Once it is cracked at a mount, worn through at a wear point, or has lost the fastener bosses, nothing bolted to it sits right, and the cleaner starts eating other parts. Replacing the shell puts an otherwise sound cleaner back to square one.
