⌄The Polaris 9-100-7046 is the genuine water management and base assembly for the Vac-Sweep 360 pressure side cleaner. The water management system, which routes the incoming pressure to the drive and sweep jets, comes pre-installed and siliconed into the bottom of the base.
Why it is sold assembled
On the 360 the water management sits sealed into the base. Doing that seal in the field is fiddly, so Polaris supplies the two together and the silicone work is finished before it reaches you. Fit the assembly and move on.
When to replace it
A cracked base or a failed seal around the water management shows up as a cleaner that has lost thrust, wanders, or no longer climbs. If the rest of the 360 is in good shape, this assembly brings the drive back without replacing the cleaner.
