Product details

The Polaris 39-005 is the rear housing for the 3900 Sport pressure side pool cleaner. It is the genuine OEM part, a cone shaped plastic piece with holes through it that sits at the rear of the cleaner body.

When to replace it

Cleaner housings live a hard life. They get dragged across plaster, knocked into steps and left in the sun, and eventually the plastic cracks or the mounting points wear out. Once that happens the parts the housing carries can work loose, so the fix is to replace the housing rather than patch it.

Ordering the right end

The 3900 has a separate top housing assembly under its own part number. Look at which section of the cleaner is damaged before ordering, since the two are not interchangeable.
