Product details

The Polaris 48-141 is the rubber o-ring for the feed hose connector, used on the Polaris 3900 Sport and 480 Pro pressure side cleaners. It is the genuine Polaris part.

Why a small seal matters

A pressure side cleaner runs on the water pushed to it through the feed hose. Everything the cleaner does, driving, climbing and lifting debris into the bag, comes from that pressure. A tired o-ring at the connector lets some of it escape before it ever reaches the cleaner, and the symptom looks like a failing cleaner rather than a failing seal.

When to change it

Whenever the feed hose connector is taken apart. The ring is inexpensive, it is buried behind the fitting, and a flattened or split one is not obvious until the connection is dry and inspected.
