Product details

The WaterTech P10XSS is the sand and silt filter bag for the Pool Blaster Aqua Broom and the Aqua Broom Ultra. It is the fine version of the bag, made for material an all purpose bag will not hold on to.

When you need the fine bag

Leaves and grit are easy. Sand, silt and the fine dust that settles into the deep end are the problem, because a coarse bag simply passes them back out into the water and you end up chasing the same cloud around the pool. Fitting the sand and silt bag first is what makes those jobs finish.

Treat it as a consumable

Filter bags load up, and a fine bag loads faster than a coarse one. Rinse it thoroughly after every use, and replace it when the fabric stays stiff or discolored and water no longer moves through it easily. A choked bag reads at the pool as a vacuum that has lost its suction.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

Which units does this bag fit?
The Pool Blaster Aqua Broom and the Aqua Broom Ultra.
How is it different from the all purpose bag?
This one is built for sand and silt, the fine material an all purpose bag tends to let through. WaterTech sells the all purpose Aqua Broom bag separately.
Is it a genuine WaterTech part?
Yes. It is WaterTech part number P10XSS.
How often should I replace it?
When it no longer passes water freely. A bag that has clogged or gone stiff with fine debris will starve the vacuum of suction even after rinsing.
