This is the replacement fine mesh bag for the Paramount Debris Canister. It suits both the in-deck canister and the equipment side canister, and it is used together with the canister basket.
What 600 micron catches
A canister basket on its own stops leaves and larger debris. The fine mesh bag goes a level finer at 600 micron, holding the dirt and small particles that would otherwise travel on to the pump strainer and eventually the impeller.
DE filters
The mesh is open enough for diatomaceous earth to feed through, so pools running a DE filter can still be charged with the bag in place.
Fitting
The bag installs onto the existing basket and comes with instructions for doing it. Keep the basket, add the bag.
