Product details

The Poolmaster PS454 is a replacement bag for a leaf vacuum. It catches leaves, acorns and other debris as water passes through the vacuum head, so the load never reaches the skimmer basket or the pump pot.

Fit

It is made for most standard size leaf vacuums and measures 1" X 7 1/2" X 6". If your vacuum head is an unusual size, compare its collar against the bag opening before you order.

When to replace it

Bags wear from the inside as grit scours the mesh. A torn seam or a hole lets everything you just collected wash back into the pool, and a bag that has gone stiff and will not open fully chokes flow through the head, which makes the vacuum feel weak even though nothing else has changed.

Keeping a spare on hand pays for itself in fall, when one storm can fill and split a tired bag in a single session.
