What it does

A bushing is a simple bearing. It sits between the wheel and its axle so the wheel turns smoothly, and it absorbs the noise and vibration that would otherwise come through the wheel assembly. When a bushing wears, the wheel loosens up, starts to wobble and gets loud, and left long enough it wears the axle too.
