Product details
The Maytronics 9983042 is the brush bushing used on Dolphin Active robotic pool cleaners. It is the genuine Maytronics part.
What it does
The brush on a robotic cleaner turns constantly while the machine works, and it turns on bushings. Those bushings are deliberately the softer part of the assembly: they take the grit and the wear so the shaft and the brush body do not. Over enough hours they open up, the brush starts to wobble in its mounting, and the cleaner loses steady contact with the floor and walls.
Fitting
Bushings are used in sets, so pull the brush and look at all of them rather than replacing only the one that looks worst. Confirm your cleaner is a Dolphin Active model before ordering.
