The Hayward RCX70101PAK2 is the genuine replacement filter element set for the TigerShark robotic pool cleaner.

Why the elements matter

A robotic cleaner filters what it picks up as it goes, and everything it collects passes through these elements. As they load up, flow through the cleaner falls, and the drop shows itself as a machine that drives its pattern but leaves dirt behind or seems to lose suction partway through a cycle.

Cleaning against replacing

Rinsing the elements after every run is ordinary maintenance and gets the most out of them. When a rinse no longer opens up the media, or when it is torn or collapsed, the set has reached the end and a new one goes in. Keeping a spare set means the cleaner can go straight back in the water while the first pair dries.
