Product details

The Hayward RCX26011 is the replacement foam roller with tube for RC9990 TigerShark robotic pool cleaners. It is the genuine Hayward part, and the current version comes with bearings.

Why rollers wear out

The roller is what puts the cleaner in contact with the pool. It drives the machine along the floor and holds it against the wall while the unit climbs. Foam that has hardened, flattened or torn stops gripping, and the symptom looks like a drive fault: the cleaner spins in place, slides back down the wall, or misses whole sections of the pool.

Fitting

The foam arrives already mounted on its tube, so the old assembly comes out and this one goes in. Rollers are a consumable part, and replacing them in pairs keeps the cleaner tracking evenly.
