The Hayward PVXS01SA-237-01 is the upper body assembly with swivel for the AquaNaut 200 and AquaNaut 400 automatic suction pool cleaners. It is the genuine Hayward part, packed one per carton.
What the swivel does
The swivel is the joint between the cleaner and the hose. It has to turn freely for the cleaner to work its way around the pool without winding the hose into a coil. When the swivel seizes or the body cracks around it, the cleaner starts fighting its own hose and ends up parked in a corner covering the same square yard all day.
Fitting
This is supplied as a complete upper body assembly with the swivel in place, so the repair is a swap rather than a rebuild of individual pieces.
