The Hayward RCX76007 is the blue handle assembly for the AquaVac TigerShark robotic pool cleaner. It is the genuine Hayward part.
It replaces the teal handle
This handle supersedes the older style teal colored handle, part number RCX76000. If your TigerShark came with the teal handle, RCX76007 is what you order now. The one practical consequence is cosmetic: the replacement is blue, so on an older cleaner the new handle will not match the original color.
Why handles fail
The handle takes the full weight of the cleaner every time it comes out of the water, dripping and heavier than it looks. That repeated load, plus years of sun on the plastic, is what eventually cracks it. It is one of the more common TigerShark replacements and does not indicate anything wrong with the cleaner itself.
