Product details

These are Hayward Super Hump wheel treads, part number PVXS11PK2-234, in metallic blue, for the AquaNaut 200 and AquaNaut 400 automatic suction cleaners. They come two to a pack.

What the hump pattern does

An AquaNaut climbs by biting into the pool surface with the raised humps molded into the tread. That pattern is doing all the work on a wall, a cove, or a set of steps. As it wears flat, the cleaner starts to slip where it used to climb, and the pool ends up cleaned only where gravity was on the cleaner side.

Replacing in pairs

Treads wear at similar rates, so a two pack lets you change a matched set rather than pairing a new tread against a worn one and fighting an uneven drive. Slide the old tread off the wheel, check the wheel itself for cracks or flat spots while it is exposed, and fit the new one.
