The parts that wear

A Navigator steers by dragging its shoes and flexing its wings against the pool surface. Both are consumable by design. As they wear, the cleaner stops turning where it should, misses whole sections of the floor and spends its run in the same corner. Replacing them together is what restores the original coverage pattern.
