The Pleatco PJANCS200-4 is a 200 square foot replacement filter cartridge for the Jandy CS200 cartridge filter. It measures 8-15/16 in. outside diameter by 33-1/8 in. long.

When to replace

A cartridge is done when cleaning stops working. Early in its life a rinse or a soak brings the filter pressure back to where it started. Later, the pleats stay dull and the pressure climbs again within days, because the media itself is loaded rather than the surface. That is the point to fit a new element instead of cleaning the old one again.

Sizing

Confirm the dimensions against the cartridge you are pulling out. The rated area and the physical size both matter: a shorter or narrower element will not seal correctly against the filter manifold, and water will bypass the media.
