The Unicel C-7483 is an 81 square foot replacement filter cartridge for Hayward C3000, C3020, C3025 and C3030 cartridge filters. It replaces the Hayward CX580XRE element.
Checking the fit
The cartridge measures 7 inches in diameter and 19.6 inches tall, with a 3 inch inside diameter on the top and bottom caps. That length appears in one source as 19-5/8 inches, which is the same figure written as a fraction. Measure the old element against those numbers before ordering if you are unsure which generation of tank you have.
Replace the set, not one element
A SwimClear tank in this size class runs several cartridges together. Fitting one new element beside worn ones does not restore the filter, because the fresh cartridge simply takes the load the old ones no longer catch and clogs faster. Change the full set and the tank runs at rated area again.
