This is a 120 ft roll of white vinyl liner lock, the wedge strip that goes into a beaded liner track on top of the bead. It is a small part of a liner job that makes a real difference to how well the liner stays put.
How it works
A beaded liner hangs from a bead receiver track around the top of the pool wall. On its own the bead can work its way out of the track, usually at the corners or wherever the liner is pulled hardest. The liner lock is a rubbery wedge that presses into the same track above the bead and jams it in place, so the liner cannot drop out.
Beaded liners only
This is not for overlap liners. Overlap liners are folded over the wall and held with coping strips, and there is no track for the wedge to seat in.
Removable
The strip stays pliable for years rather than hardening, so it can be pulled back out and reinstalled the next time the liner comes off.
