The Hide HSL12-0.4 is a 12 in. square deck skimmer lid kit, an external inlay cover that takes your own deck material so the skimmer lid blends into the surface instead of interrupting it.

Material depth

This kit is the 1 cm depth, which suits inlay material 3/8 in. to 1/2 in. thick. It is not suitable for concrete. Hide offers 1.6, 2.0 and 2.5 depth kits for heavier material, so match the kit to the thickness of the material you plan to set into it.

Where it fits in the job

The kit based range is aimed at new landscape work and new pool installations, where the deck material is chosen before the cover is ordered. Once it is installed, the cover lifts and reseats the same way an ordinary skimmer lid does.
