Product details

The SmartPool PoolEye PE20 is a pool alarm for inground pools. It watches the water and raises an alert when something enters it.

How it detects

The PoolEye reads subsurface waves rather than movement on the surface. That is what lets it alert on an object as light as 15 pounds entering the water while ignoring wind, rain and floating toys, which is the difference between an alarm people trust and one they end up switching off.

Why it matters

If there are children around the pool, the risk is the swim nobody agreed to and the fall nobody saw. A barrier alarm sits there all the time and covers the hours when no one is watching. It belongs alongside fencing and supervision, not in place of them.
