Product details

The S.R. Smith 202-7000 is the gray handle for the PAL2 portable pool lift. The PAL2 and PAL2 Hi/Lo parts lists both name it.

How it mounts

The handle connects to the main frame through the openings in the housing. It comes off the frame during the first assembly of the lift and goes back on once the housing is in place. S.R. Smith makes it from powder coated aluminum.

Why it matters

The PAL2 weighs 1060 lb, and S.R. Smith says only the handle should be used to position it. The seat is not a hand hold. Keep a firm grip and move the lift onto level ground, then extend both stabilizer arms and lock both rear wheels before anyone transfers. A bent or loose handle makes that harder to do safely, so replace it rather than pushing on other parts of the lift.
