CaliMar salt systems come in three families and each takes a different cell, so read the model number on the unit before the pool size. A CMARSHA system takes a CMARCCF cell, in 15,000, 25,000, 40,000 and 60,000 gallon sizes. A Titanium Edition system, CMARSCT, takes an RJG cell. A Platinum system, CMARSSG, takes a CMARCSG or CMARCPC cell. In every one of those numbers the two digits in the middle are the gallons in thousands.

Cells for CaliMar's own salt systems. CaliMar also makes cells for other manufacturers' systems, and those are filed with the system they fit. The brand as a whole is on the CaliMar page.
Cells for other systems: Hayward, Pentair IntelliChlor, Jandy and Zodiac, AutoPilot, CompuPool, Solaxx and Ecomatic. Every cell we carry is on salt cells, power centers and complete systems are under salt chlorine generators, and unions, cords, sensors and boards are in salt system parts.
Before you replace a cell, rule out scale: how to clean a salt cell gives each manufacturer's acid mix and time limit, and when to replace a salt cell has the tests that tell a worn cell from a dirty one.
Weighing the original against a cell another manufacturer builds for the same system? Generic vs OEM salt cells sets out what can be compared on paper, and what each manufacturer's warranty says about the other's cells.
Which cell fits a CaliMar CMARSHA40-3Y?
The CMARCCF40-3Y. The pattern holds across the range: the CMARSHA15-3Y takes the CMARCCF15-3Y, the 25 takes the 25, the 40 takes the 40 and the 60 takes the 60, with the number giving the pool size in thousands of gallons. Each of the four is listed as fitting that one system and carries a three year limited warranty.
What cell does a CaliMar Titanium Edition system take?
An RJG cell, which CompuPool makes for it. There are four, for the CMARSCT20, CMARSCT30, CMARSCT45 and CMARSCT60, numbered RJG-20-RC through RJG-60-RC to match. The 45,000 gallon one is described as having a clear housing and a seven year warranty. These are not the cells for a CMARSHA system, so the letters after CMAR on the unit are what to read first.
Does a CaliMar Platinum system use the same cell as a CMP PowerClean?
For the two larger sizes, yes. The CMARCPC40-2Y is listed for the CaliMar Platinum CMARSSG40 and also for the CMP PowerClean 540 and the SGS Wave and Breeze 540, and it replaces the CMARCSG40-1. It is a five blade, 40,000 gallon cell. The CMARCPC60-2Y does the same job for the CMARSSG60 and the 760 systems, with seven blades and a 60,000 gallon rating. The smallest Platinum, the CMARSSG20-5, takes the CMARCSG20-1.
Where are the CaliMar cells that fit Hayward, Pentair and other systems?
With the system they fit. This page is only the cells for CaliMar's own generators. A CaliMar cell built to replace a Hayward T-Cell is on the Hayward page, the ones made for IntelliChlor are on the Pentair page, and the same goes for Zodiac Nature2 Fusion Soft, AutoPilot, CompuPool and Ecomatic. We file a cell by the box it plugs into, because that is the name its owner knows.
