Product details

This is the FX Luminaire PotenzaX 900W transformer in stainless steel, model PX-900-C, FX Luminaire part number 229750. It is the power supply for a landscape lighting system.

Sizing

A transformer is chosen by the total load it carries. Add up the wattage of every fixture on the system and keep the total within the 900W rating. If the lighting plan runs past that, divide the fixtures between transformers rather than overloading one.

Installation

The transformer connects to line voltage, so have a licensed electrician or a qualified landscape lighting installer mount and wire it to local electrical code. Match the model and part number to your lighting plan, or to the unit being replaced, before ordering.
