The Beatbot A100 Pro is a cordless robotic pool cleaner that handles five jobs in one pass: it vacuums the floor, scrubs the walls, cleans the waterline, skims the surface, and doses the water with clarifier as it goes. It is the first pool robot to dispense a clarifying agent automatically, which keeps oils, scum and discoloration from settling in between cleanings. The clarifier itself is sold separately.

Power and navigation

Nine motors in the NonaDrive system push 5500 GPH through the robot, enough suction to lift heavy debris and enough traction to climb walls in inground and above ground pools. A 3.7 L basket with dual layer filtration captures leaves, hair, sand and insects down to 150 microns, and its size means fewer trips to empty it.

Nothing to haul out

Smart Return ends every cycle at the surface. The robot rises, sheds excess water and parks above the waterline, so you lift it from the deck instead of fishing it out of the deep end. Surface skimming runs up to 9.5 hours per charge, and the vertical dock recharges it at 88 W to full in under 3.5 hours, with the robot stored upright on the dock between runs.

App control and durability

The Beatbot app switches between five cleaning modes, shows cleaning history and installs over the air updates. The buttons on the robot start, stop and change modes without the phone. Beatbot backs the design with 15 certifications and testing at 122 degrees, 85 percent humidity and 50,000 ppm salinity. The main pump is rated for more than five years and the buttons for over 100,000 presses. The A100 Pro carries a three year Beatbot consumer warranty from the date of purchase.
