The S.R. Smith poolLUX Premier, part PLX-PRM, is a light control system and wireless remote for S.R. Smith LED pool lighting. It combines the power supply, the wiring stations and the color control in one corrosion resistant enclosure.

Power and stations

The panel is a ten wiring station system with a built in 70W power supply, rated at 7W maximum per station. The housing is NEMA 3R corrosion resistant with sound dampening, and it carries six low voltage and two line voltage combination knockouts sized for 3/4 in. or 1 in.

Color, shows and dimming

Six standard colors and two shows are reached by toggling power on and off, so they work even without the remote in your hand. The wireless remote extends that to a color selection wheel with up to 49 variations and a dimming bar with four levels, and the control panel adds 15 more dimming steps of its own. The remote is rated for extended range at 100 ft line of sight.

poolLUX Premier drives Treo, Treo Micro, Fiberglass LED lights and Color Light Stream products, and works exclusively with S.R. Smith LED lights. There is also an onboard dry contact option for limited third party system interface, which the factory can advise on.
