The Hammerhead HH1062 is the smart switch kit for Service and Resort type cleaning units. One kit covers both, so you do not have to work out which switch your machine left the factory with.
What the switch adds
Two speed settings put the operator in control of how hard the vacuum motor works, which matters on light debris where full speed is more than the job needs. Automatic shutoff means the unit is not left running when nobody is watching it.
Protection built in
Direct wire short circuit detection monitors the supply and opens the circuit when it sees a fault, and motor overload protection steps in before the vacuum motor pulls more current than it should. Between them they take the two most common ways a portable vacuum motor gets destroyed off the table.
