Hammerhead Service-21 21" Vacuum with 40 Foot Cord, Cart and Truck Trailer Mount

The Hammerhead Service-21 is a self-contained pool vacuum built for pool to pool route work. The motor, propeller and 21 in. head run off a 12 V marine battery carried on the cart, so there is no pump to prime, no valves to set and no hose to connect. You roll it to the deck, put the head in the water and start vacuuming, which is why the Service-21 has become the standard unit on service trucks.

Made to ride on the truck

It comes with a vehicle mount assembly that fits any 2 in. hitch receiver, so the cart travels on the truck or trailer between stops. Hammerhead rates the time saving at up to 50 percent on a cleaning, which adds up to hours over a route day.

Hardware that holds up

The head is injection molded and rolls on non-marking, bearingless cast urethane wheels with a stainless pole swivel mount. The motor is sealed and pressure tested, the propeller is a two blade design and the 40 ft power cord floats. The caddy cart is welded aluminum on 20 in. mag BMX-style wheels with solid non-marking tires and stainless bearings, and every fastener is stainless. An LED battery meter shows the charge state.

What is in the box, and what is not

Included: the cart, the 21 in. head, motor, propeller, 40 ft cord, two debris bags and the truck or trailer mount with hardware. Not included: the 12 V deep cycle marine battery, a battery charger and a standard pool pole. With a 27 series battery installed the unit weighs 155 lb; the head and motor alone are 11 lb.
