The Polaris 65 Vac-Sweep is a pressure side automatic cleaner for above ground pools, supplied complete with head and 24 ft of float hose and covered by a one year manufacturer warranty.
How it works
A pressure side cleaner takes its energy from clean water on its way back into the pool, so it drives itself from the return line instead of pulling suction through the skimmer. That keeps the pump basket clear and means debris does not pass through the filter. The 65 vacuums the floor and sweeps the walls, and a patented jet sweep assembly blows water at the wall to loosen dirt out of the corners the head does not reach directly.
Set up
Installation is a return line connection. The float hose threads onto a 1.5 inch return and the cleaner is running, with no booster pump involved. It is designed around the pump and filter sizes normally fitted to above ground pools.
What it collects
Debris is jetted into the cleaner own bag, which pulls off for emptying. Small leaves, medium leaves and sand are all in scope for it, which covers the everyday load on a residential above ground pool.
