Product details

The S.R. Smith 1001498 is the mount plate that holds the LiftOperator control box and its battery on the lift. The aXs2 parts list calls it the Battery Bracket, and the multiLift2 parts list calls it the Mount plate assembly.

How it is used

In the multiLift2 assembly steps, the tabs on the bottom of the mounting bracket go into the slots in the lower back of the controller, and a single screw, part 1001494 in that parts list, holds the controller in place. The battery latch bracket then locks into the slots on the same bracket. To take the battery off for charging, pull outward on the handle until the latch clears the slots and lift it up. On the aXs2, the battery pack slides onto the top of the mounting plate and down onto the control box.

When to replace it

If the tabs or slots are bent or cracked so the controller or the battery latch no longer locks in place, replace the plate.
