S.R. Smith multiLift2 Pool Lift Parts

12 products

Note the lift's color before ordering multiLift2 parts. S.R. Smith adds -TP to the base, main arm, seat interface and seat leveling numbers for taupe and -ST for slate, so one key on the drawing can mean three orders. The parts list is a hardware level bill of materials, down to each bolt, washer and bushing, with the 100-8000 actuator doing all the lifting. The multiLift2 only raises and lowers, so there is no turning motor or gear to wear, and its battery and control box are LiftOperator units.

Numbers are the manufacturer's own.

About S.R. Smith multiLift2 Pool Lift Parts

The drawing is Appendix C of S.R. Smith's multiLift2 owner's manual, badged at the manufacturer's 28 item numbers. Most keys are fasteners: nylon and stainless washers, lock nuts, shoulder screws, hex bolts and sleeve bearings, each with its own number, so a lost bolt can be ordered by key rather than by guess. A part this store does not sell keeps its badge and number for reference.

Sold here: the 1001498 mount plate assembly (key 27), the plate the LiftOperator battery and control box hang on, also used on the aXs2, and the 500-5000 new construction anchor jig the manual names for pouring the anchors into a new deck. The jig comes without the four flush deck anchors, which S.R. Smith numbers as kit 300-6700A. The 910-1000T console cover keeps water off the battery and control box. The 600 mm actuator 100-7000 sold here is for the first multiLift; the multiLift2 list names the 100-8000.

The multiLift2 is a fixed lift on a flange base, rated at 350 lb, with a 58.5 in. mast, about 51 in. of seat travel and a seat that can be set up on either side in the field. Two cables run from the control box, one to the hand control and one to the actuator. Its parts list leaves out the battery, charger and control box, which are on the batteries and chargers page; the anchor side is on pool lift anchors, and the ADA measurements the seat has to meet are in ADA pool lift requirements.

If the lift will not move, charge the battery until the light by its charging port turns green; a light that flashes red means a faulty pack. If the control box lights show under 25 percent on a freshly charged pack, replace the battery. No lights at all with the battery seated points to the control box. The pool lift battery and maintenance guide covers the daily routine.

Spare batteries and chargers, covers and anchors are filed on their own pages. Parts drawings for the other S.R. Smith lifts: PAL2, Splash! and aXs2. The lifts themselves are on S.R. Smith pool lifts, and the parent page is Pool lift parts.

Questions about S.R. Smith multiLift2 Pool Lift Parts

Is the multiLift2 actuator the same as the original multiLift's?

No. The multiLift2 parts list names the 100-8000 actuator at key 8, held by actuator centering sleeves and 3/8 in. stainless hardware. The 600 mm actuator 100-7000 belongs to the first multiLift. Since the multiLift2 has no turning motor, the actuator is its only moving electrical part, so read the number on the actuator's label before ordering, and match it to the list for your model.

Why do multiLift2 part numbers end in TP or ST?

They name the color. The base, main arm, seat interface and seat leveling assembly are powder coated, and S.R. Smith adds -TP for taupe and -ST for slate to the end of those four numbers; the plain number is the gray mist finish. The actuator, mount plate and hardware carry one number whatever the color. Check the model number on the lift's serial label, which ends the same way.

My multiLift2 hand control does nothing but the lift is charged. What now?

Check the hand control plug is pushed fully into the control box, that its pins are straight and that the cable is undamaged. Then press up and down on the control box's own buttons. If the lift moves from the panel, the hand control needs replacing. If it does not move from either and the battery lights come on, call S.R. Smith; if no lights come on with the battery seated, the control box is the likely fault.

Where is the serial number on an S.R. Smith multiLift2?

On a silver label about 2.5 by 3.25 in. on the mast. It carries the model or product number and the serial, and that is what to read before ordering: the model number shows the color suffix, and the serial is what S.R. Smith asks for, with photos, on any warranty claim. Its warranty runs from the date of manufacture, not the date of purchase.
