Coverstar 19.75" Long Lid Bracket Extension Kit, 23" to 25", Stainless Steel, A2392

The Coverstar A2392 is a stainless steel lid bracket extension kit with 19.75 in. support arms, listed for the 23 in. to 25 in. size step. It extends the reach of an adjustable walk-on lid bracket so a wider vault lid stays properly carried.

What it works with

The extension arms are engineered to work with the 13 in. adjustable walk-on lid bracket with a stainless steel base, given in our source as Coverstar part A1932. They are meant to give solid support under stone and concrete lids, which is where an unsupported lid will crack or sag first.

Measure before you order

Coverstar states that the lid should not extend more than 2 inches beyond the length of the support arm. This kit is labeled for 23 in. to 25 in. while the arms measure 19.75 in., so take both numbers to your own vault and lid rather than assuming one from the other. Coverstar also makes matching kits in other arm lengths if this one does not line up.

Why stainless

The bracketry inside a cover vault sits in a wet, dirty, mostly ignored space. Stainless is what keeps the supports doing their job years after the vault was last opened.
